Can I use your art for [insert reason]?Sure! Of course~ But please note that
1)commercial use of my stuff in any way is not allowed
2)Please don't use anything in the "commissions" folder because rights to those characters are not mine to give. Crediting is very much appreciated, but not required : )
What tools do you use??Digital-wise Paint Tool SAI and wacom tablet, with PS for editing. Traditional I use Marie's watercolors, random brushes I see lying around (really I don't have preferences for these...) and mechanical pencil. Oh and Canson watercolor paper~
What kind of art education did you get/how long have you been drawing/etc?This is actually the most common question haha. I have been getting art lessons on and off since I was a toddler, but didn't really take any extensive drawing classes until sophomore year of high school, but stopped after graduating. Currently I am an engineering major in a science-based university which means there's not a lot of chance to train myself in the arts : (
I actually don't know how long I've been drawing seriously....since aside from those 3 years in high school I'm basically just...doodling....
How often do you draw?I used to doodle EVERY DAYYY, but actually right now it's more like once a week...
What resources/technique did you use/how did you get where you are now/how did you develop your style? Hm honestly I think I am kind of under-qualified to answer these type of questions...but
I think art classes are essential! And by those I meant the ones where they actually sit you down and teach you how to observe and draw from life (yesss the boring ones!).
I don't really know much about technique lol...it's kind of the same with style, I didn't really know what I was doing and actually tried to experiment with many styles and techniques until I get to a place where I feel really comfortable.
And by many styles I meant not so many.
Then what influenced your style?Chinese paintings! Gustav Klimt! And European architecture? I kind of have a jumbo of things going on...but I think taking art history was really important to this, because it exposed me to many styles I can experiment with : )
and I think that's about it...Please send stuff to my askbox if there's something you'd like to know! Or just leave it here if you feel comfortable asking <3
I have a few questions which were not included.
What tools do you use in PTS?
How do you render hair so smoothly?
Sorry if you've answered these before, I was just curious.

Don't Forget to be awesome!
Hmm...that's kind of hard to explain haha, thank you though! I guess just play with different ways of painting hair? There's no harm in trying new things!
Hope that answers some questions ;;

But I really want to tell you that don't give up! I feel that way too, but I think as long as you keep going you will get better : )
Good luck!

I can also see the influences that are stated above, in your artwork~ I took art history too whilst in an animation course, definitely inspiring and interesting to say the least.

"When you feel like giving up, remember why you held on for so long in the first place.."
LOve it.
And I hate when people ask if I went to art school >_<
art school taught me nothing, it just gave me time to learn for myself.
