All the good C-Rock happened ~30 years ago. I would recommend anything by 罗大佑... As for nowadays, my fav C-Pop/Rock singers are probably 林俊杰, 阿桑, 斯琴格日乐.

(I'm not into any of the bands nowadays. -.-, Sadly, Fahrenheit, Power Station, S.H.E., etc are all my pet peeves. I agree Jay Chou has some decent stuff though. And Homeboy~Wang Leehom~~ :])
